COSCO SHIPPING, one of the world’s leading container shipping lines, officially launched its AEU7 service in April 2025 — a new direct container route connecting Cai Mep (Vietnam) with key European ports including Rotterdam, Hamburg, Zeebrugge, and Felixstowe.

Starting from April 16, 2025, COSCO SHIPPING reaffirms its commitment to delivering high-quality logistics solutions and enhancing global connectivity. The new AEU7 route strengthens the company’s presence in the Vietnam-Europe trade lane, with departures from Ba Ria – Vung Tau (Cai Mep).

The AEU7 service is a strategic move by COSCO SHIPPING to meet the growing demand for container transport between Vietnam and key markets in Europe. The new route offers:

• Route: Cai Mep – Rotterdam – Hamburg – Zeebrugge – Felixstowe

• Frequency: Weekly

• Loading Port: Cai Mep

• ETA/ETD: Tuesday / Wednesday

• Transit Time: Approx. 30 days from Cai Mep to Rotterdam, making it one of the most competitive and reliable transport options available today.

In addition to serving Europe, the AEU7 service enhances intra-Asia connectivity, notably with a Cai Mep – Singapore leg that takes just around 2 days. This enables businesses to efficiently link with one of the region’s key transshipment hubs.
